It is predominately an algebra-based course with a minor amount of calculus introduced from a historical basis. Lecture (3 units) and required laboratory (1 unit).Additional lab fee. Prerequisites:MAT 135, 145, 245 or PHY101 and a passing score on a mathematics assessment exam.
