This course is an introduction to statistical methods. Students will obtain the statistical knowledge necessary to read and understand scholarly articles and books that incorporate a statistical analysis. Students will describe and analyze data using computer data analysis software, such as SPSS. The course will prepare students to use statistical methods in their own research in graduate school or in their professional careers. Prerequisite:MAT 115 or 144.
