Guided instruction in skills necessary for effective instructional delivery in the context of a classroom, church service, camp, or conference setting Elements include writing instructional objectives, lesson plan preparation, delivering opening illustrations, storytelling techniques, public reading, using animated gestures, minimizing classroom distractions, giving instructions and platform speaking strategies There will be structured teaching experiences in a field setting with a selected age group These will be video taped for critical analysis by the student, course instructor, and internship site supervisor (Ten hours per week in supervised internship is required ) Christian Education Ministries majors only Prerequisites: 252, 380 Offered fall / spring
