This course synthesizes selected information presented in the generic baccalaureate program for presentation in condensed format. The course addresses the development and nature of today's health care systems and associated nursing issues in the United States. The content also familiarizes the student with major nursing roles: leader, consultant, teacher, manager, and client advocate.
