THEORY, 2 HOURS This "bridge" course is designed for transfer students who are notrequired to take UNRS 105 (LVNs, RNs, and students with nursing transfer credits who are entering the baccalaureate nursing program). It provides an introduction to the theories and concepts of professional nursing. The nursing process is presented and utilized as the basis for planning care as applied to nursing clients. The content also includes discussion of current issues and trends in nursing and compilation of a professional portfolio. Prerequisite: acceptance into the nursing program
