This class is an in-depth study of jazz vocal styles which prepares performers for a wide range of jazz performance situations including live and recording venues. Jazz style and interpretation are stressed and performance opportunities are given throughout the semester. Prerequisites: acceptance into the Commercial Music Program and the successful completion (with a B or better) of MUS 121, 122, 133, 134
