This course introduces students to the occupational dimensions of physical education through class discussion, guest speakers, and on-site observation of professionals in school, corporate, and fitness/wellness settings. In each professional setting, students observe and assist a professional in some aspect of their work. As a result, the student gains understanding the roles and responsibilities of physical educators in the 21st century. This course is to be completed by the end of the student's freshman year.
