1 semester hour This course introduces the student to beginning rock climbing. Topics covered include terminology, equipment, as well as technical and safety skills. Safety will be emphasized. Students will have the opportunity to climb on the University climbing wall and put lectures, discussions, and readings into practice. (Fall and Spring) No prerequisites.
