While the course devotes some attention to introducing or reviewing basic analytic vocabulary, it emphasizes the application of different critical and theoretical approaches to the interpretation of primary literary texts. Along with the selected literary works, assigned readings will include a variety of scholarly secondary texts. (Every year) Prerequisite: ENG1020.
