3 semester hours Students will explore the nature of interpersonal communication in all contexts of their lives. Special emphasis will be placed on the impact of interpersonal communication in the personal, social and organizational relationships of individuals and on society at large. This course will provide an overview of the communication, psychological and sociological literatures and theories that have been important in understanding how humans communicate with one another.
