ATR 2750 - Athletic Training Practicum II

2 semester hours Under the direct supervision of a BOC certified athletic trainer/clinical instructor, students will observe and participate in the application of athletic training clinical skills and proficiencies previously learned in PED2080 and ATR2500. Students will be evaluated on health care administration, taping, wrapping and bracing, risk management and injury prevention, psychosocial Intervention and referral, and nutrition. 1 hour lab, 10-12 hours/week of clinical experience, and 9-10 hours of general medical observations are required. (Fall) Prerequisites: ATR1760. Acceptance into the Athletic Training major.
