3 semester hours Management science is the approach to decision making based on the scientific method. This course addresses the quantitative aspects of decision making in management. Among other tools, this course includes study of linear programming and its applications, critical path methodology and game theory. This course looks at how these tools function as well as the strategic elements considered in deciding which ones are most appropriate to use under various circumstances. Prerequisite: ECN/SBS2320.
