This class offers an introduction to contemporary marketing theory and its application in the marketing implementation process. Students examine the techniques involved in bringing a product, service, or idea to the marketplace. Special focus is placed on identifying market opportunities, consumer behavior issues including marketing to ethnic groups, product development, promotion planning, pricing decisions, and channels of distribution.
