This course is an exegetical study of I and II Samuel with special attention given to the theological features of the two volumes. Frequent use is made of the available archaeological and historical information. The study will seek to enhance the student's ability to evaluate the accuracy and clarity of the standard English versions in the rendering of key passages from the Hebrew Bible. The student will be expected to conduct word studies of important Hebrew terminology.
