On a large scale, group theory can be applied to the scope of organizations, where individuals join together to form a complex organizational structure. Students study both leadership theory and group behavior. The course incorporates processes and strategies leaders and followers use to gain consensus, make decisions and mobilize individuals to organizational effectiveness.
