This course reviews foundational theories of Interpersonal and Family Dynamics through dating, courtship, and marriage. Students critique the various theories using material drawn from original sources to the extent possible, and, using currently available demographic data, estimate future patterns of marriage and family development. Based on these estimates, students will construct primary prevention strategies to reduce predicted levels of dysfunction. Prerequisites: FT 7321 or FT 7322.
