Prerequisite: DES202, CGF201 5 semester credit hours This course is designed to offer studies in conceptual advertising. Directed assignments will allow students to learn discipline-specific information, deliver experience via hands-on practice and create an understanding of the history and principles of modern advertising design. Topics covered include an overview of the history of advertising design and directed projects focusing on developing concepts, art direction, layout skills, strategy and marketing research and branding.
