Prerequisite: DES201 5 semester credit hours This intermediate design course consists of continuing instruction building on the basics of graphic design. Topics to be covered include 2-D and 3-D design problems, including the materials, principles and production techniques of graphic design. Building on the basic rules of typography, type will be used to solve increasingly complex problems. Projects include multi-page layouts, package design and multidisciplinary, integrated campaign-related design.
