Prerequisites: CGF201, DES201, EDS201 5 semester credit hours In this course students learn how to plan and create web sites for the Internet or World Wide Web (WWW). They will be initiated in the use of several programming languages such as html (hypertext markup language), xhtml (extensible hypertext markup language) and CSS (cascading style sheets). They will also begin to prepare and use text, graphics, sound and video to create and implement web sites. Issues specific to the Internet and interactive design will be explored and touched upon, including historic development, legal issues and social implications.
