3 semester credit hours The purpose of this course is to give students a firm understanding of the skeleton as an architectural framework for the human body and of the muscular system as a system for the production of motion. The course will consist of lecture and lab components as well as some work outside of class, including museum trips to study biological and evolutionary exhibits.
