Consideration of a selection of classic monographs within the field of sociology, with an eye to utilizing the "sociological imagination" and skills gained through the prior majorcourses, both required and elected. This course should be a culminating experience for those who have chosen this major, resulting in a heightened awareness of the sociological perspective.
