What leads to that triumph of the human spirit we call creativity? The psychology of creative self-expression will be explored by understanding the processes of inner passions and conflicts on self-expression. Examples of some of the world's greatest "mad" scientists and "crazartists will be provided as case studies. Students will be given specific techniques to recover their creativity from a variety of psychosocial blocks so that they may be able to fully express the writer, poet, actor, painter, musician, or scientist within themselves. Satisfies the Social/ Behavioral Science GUR.
