The objective of this course is to convey a sense of Design and Innovation in the development of products. To accomplish this the class shall review a number of case studies and participate in the design of a project. In addition to the semester project we shall discuss a number of topics of concern to Design and Engineering through illustrated talks (slides/tapes) and when available with guest designers and engineers. Pre-requisites: Engineering 111, Engineering 300. 3 lecture hours; 3 semester hours
