Students will have an opportunity to do specialized design work in furniture. Exploration of materials, colors, textures, forms, human factors and manufacturing techniques to create uniquely aesthetic and functional solutions to furniture design problems. Students will be required to do free hand and orthographic drawings as well as a variety of three dimensional models from sketch to final prototype. Prerequisite: Int D 309. 3 semester hours
