Offers students an opportunity to explore jazz literature and improvisation. Open to instrumentalists by audition. Credit earned in Jazz Ensemble may not be used to meet "large ensemble" requirements for musicmajors or minors. Upper-division credit is granted those students with two years' experience in small ensembles. Must also be enrolled in a large ensemble.
