This is a specialty seminar in nurse anesthesia designed to assess theoretical and clinical knowledge. A case discussion format is used that encompasses basic and advanced principles of nurse anesthesia with relevant physiological, pathophysiological, pharmacological information. Successful completion of this course provides credit for NUR 531A, NUR 531B, and NUR 531C in the nurse anesthesia curriculum as well as PHY 551, PHY 552 and PPH 511, PPH 512. May be repeated for a minimum of 9 hours for the Anesthesia Nurse Post-certificate master's program. [3]
