The focus of this course is to develop a knowledge base necessary to apply leadership and management concepts, principles, theories and strategies in Nursing Practice. As part of this course you will complete a paper about a leadership/management issue. The paper is an integrated experience that requires you to apply theories of management and leadership in the clinical setting and communicate your findings in a scholarly paper. Prerequisite: NUR 341, NSG 351, NSG 400. Co-requisite: NSG 406P. (2 Credits)
