First part in planning and conducting the required master's degree research project. Students are expected to begin formulation of their research questions and to complete their review of the literature. Student projects are designed in various areas of the clinical laboratories and focus on clinical testing, management and supervision issues. Students are required to formally present the results of their projects to the faculty and student body, and are encouraged to publish their results. Prerequisite: Departmental permission.
