Offers a chronological survey of the American Musical. Provides a comprehensive approach to learning by providing students with a historical and cultural background to the major developments of Musical Theatre and by offering those students with a background in music performance an option to develop their performance skills through participation in class performances. Students will be invited to audition for a special cabaret performance offered at the end of the semester by the Department of Fine and Performing Arts.
