Student seeks out a supervisor trained in the proposed area of research and approved by the Department Chair, as well as two outside readers. Student works with the supervisor to develop a project proposal, an annotated bibliography or list of resources crucial to the project, and a short paper on a central theme of the research. NOTE: First part of a two-semester research project required for all religious studies majors. Prerequisite(s): Majors only. Approval of Department Chair.
