Mariachi Tigre de Colorado College. Instrumental and vocal performance of Mexican popular and folk orchestral music with emphasis on bel canto singing. Genres include regional sones, huapangos, corridos, boleros, canciones, rancheras, polcas, valses and cumbias. (Offered by the semester as an adjunct course.) No prerequisites.
