Possible texts for study might include, among others: Plato, Republic; Aristotle, Metaphysics; Descartes, Meditations on First Philosophy and The Passions of the Soul; Spinoza, Ethics; Hume, A Treatise of Human Nature; Kant, Critique of Pure Reason; Hegel, Philosophy of Right; Heidegger, Being and Time; Wittgenstein, Philosophical Investigations; Derrida, Margins of Philosophy.
