Exposes students to problems and trends in society which can be illuminated through application of basic tools and concepts drawn from economics and business fields. May be taught with Emphasis on Writing and Speaking. Intended for non-majors. No credit if taken after 150, 151, 152 or 160 and may not be counted toward either the economics or political economy majors. Block 2: Topics in Economics and Business: The Economic Novel. Prerequisite: FYE Course. 1st Years Only. Must take Economics 160 block one for credit. 1 unit - Laux.
