An examination of the tools available for studying models of chemical systems. FORTRAN programming, Evolution Algorithms, Neural Networks, Molecular Modeling software, and Computer Graphics will all be introduced. This is a project based course with topics chosen to match the level of individual students' chemistry backgrounds. Prerequisite: Mathematics 128. (Not offered 2008-09.) .5 unit.
