This course is designed for students who wish to tutor general and organic chemistry. It includes methods for improved listening skills, assessing student content knowledge, teaching problem solving, and conceptual analysis. Methods used in the course include peer tutoring, experiential exercises, journal writing, and supervised tutoring. The class is recommended for those students desiring chemistry department payment for tutoring. Prerequisite: Chemistry 250 or consent of instructor. .25 unit.
