Block 4: Special Topics in Biology: Developmental Biology of Eukaryotes. Study of how the fertilized egg develops into a multicellular organism with multiple cell types, tissues, and organs working together. Emphasis on the genetic regulation of developmental processes, cell-cell communication, and the methods by which these processes are elucidated. Course includes lectures, discussion of primary literature, and laboratories. Prerequisite: Biology 361. 1 unit - Huang.
