A survey of major topics in biological anthropology, including: background material in genetics and evolution, non-human primate behavior, human evolution and biological variation, skeletal studies, and the concept of race. Emphasis on biocultural interactions. Occasional laboratory experiences complement lectures, reading, and discussion. (Meets the requirement for Natural Science credit.) (Does not meet the divisional requirement in the Social Sciences or the outside unit requirement for students majoring in the natural sciences.)
