Emphasis on philosophy and concepts of mathematics instruction based on the curriculum, professional, and assessment standards of NCTM and the Illinois Professional Teaching Standards, Illinois Content Area Standards, and the Illinois Learning Standards K-9. Concurrent with EDUC 312, 313, 313L, 317, 321, 427L, SCI 322. Prerequisites: EDUC 125, 125L, 225, 225L, 427, MATH 125, and admission to WheTEP.
