A focus on the progressive development and ultimate consummation of God's purpose in redemptive history, with special emphasis on the nature and coming of God's kingdom. Studies the various eschatological systems, their competing hermeneutical approaches to the relevant biblical texts and themes, and the relationship between Israel and the Church, with a view to constructing a theologically unified perspective. Prerequisite: BITH 315 or 374. (2 credits)
