Credit Hours: 4 This course focuses on whole person assessment and expands communication and nursing process skills learned in Basic Nursing Principles I. The focus is on development of health promotion and care of adults experiencing uncomplicated health alterations. Scientific knowledge from nursing, physiological and psychological theories are the basis for planning, implementing, and evaluating the outcomes of nursing actions. Clinical settings occur in Quincy, Illinois, and surrounding areas. (Offered every Spring.) Prerequisite(s): ENG 111; BIO 283; NSG 101, 201, 202. Prerequisite or concurrent NSG 102, BIO 159.
