Credit Hours: 3 This course is intended to provide the advanced aviation student with both instruction and flight training in preparation for the FAA examination for Certified Flight Instructor Instrument-Airplane Rating. This course also includes instruction on the development of course syllabi and lesson plans, current teaching methodologies applicable to flight training programs, strategies for student performance evaluation, as well as other responsibilities associated with CFI positions. Prerequisite(s): Commercial Pilot Certificate and Instrument Rating, and permission of the instructor.
