3 credits This class offers students an opportunity to work with different combinations of photographic imagery. Students are encouraged to experiment with original and appropriated elements and image/language combinations to create new meanings. Explorations include such issues as identity, gender, culture or religious beliefs in the context of contemporary thought. Students will be required to produce of cohesive portfolio that demonstrates their ideas and ability to work in depth within a given topic. Prerequisites: Introduction to Photographic Media Fulfills: Photography Elective (Photography and Graphic Design students); 300-level Studio Elective; Studio Elective
