1 credits This one-credit course offers students the opportunity for advanced, individualized study in grammar and mechanics, writing summaries and essays, vocabulary building and reading comprehension. Students will meet twice a week to practice skills introduced in class. This course is an elective open to all students who wish to improve their writing, professional communication, and literacy skills. It will be required for all art education students during (or preceding) the semester they intend to take the Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure. Prerequisites: English Composition I and II Fulfills: Art Education Requirement
