Process and concepts is concerned with reflecting on the process(es) of architectural design/conception. Organized as a seminar, the course provides students with a forum for discussing notions and conceptual tools on which to build a reflective approach to the architectural design process. It is intended as an interdisciplinary inquiry where we incorporate materials from other fields spanning from literature to computer science. Other readings in cognitive psychology or philosophy regarding the embodied mind along with readings concerned with the history of ideas help cast light on different accounts of the processes of conception.
