Each student is responsible for pursuing independent research into (1) the exploratory work of a selected architect, engineer, or scientist ; (2) a building, building type, or structural system, and (3) into a building material, or assembly of components, or aspects of the recycling or reuse of buildings or their components. Students are required to make periodic presentations of their research efforts and present a final project as a culmination of the research effort. Prereq.: ARCH-503.
