Learns principles, concepts, and group dynamics and the therapeutic use of groups in a psychosocial setting. Students demonstrate group leadership skills, application of psychosocial theory, knowledge of classical symptomology and therapeutic use of tasks in planning and carrying out a mock group demonstration. Prerequisites: OCCP-307, and must be taken the last semester in residence before admission to fieldwork.
