Brings advanced level occupational therapy students face to face with clinical experts in the discussion and resolution of problem based dilemmas including pathological and classical clinical management cases, use of clinical assessment tools, theory exploration, multicultural considerations, OTR/COTA role distinction, the documentation process, ethical and leadership concerns, research, and selected clinical observations. Cognitively integrates occupational therapy theory and practice using experienced therapists as role models. Discussion/Community Sites Visits. Prerequisites: must be taken in the final academic semester prior to fieldwork and concurrently with OCCP-411 and 412.
