Presents the medical basis and interpretation to psychiatric diagnoses using the DSM IV. Explores various clinical conditions, psychotropic drug manifestations, and classical clinical behaviors. Introduces various psychiatric theories, assessment tools, and discusses interpretation and rationale for occupational therapy intervention. Lecture/Presentations. Prerequisites: PSYC-050, 116, 118, and 123 or 125, OCCP-301, and must be taken immediately preceding OCCP-412.
