The Vocal Jazz Ensemble is a select small ensemble that studies and performs a wide variety of jazz styles including traditional big band, contemporary jazz, the blues, scat singing, vocalese, interpretation of jazz standards, and more. Special emphasis is placed on developing ensemble skills and performing in the jazz style. Believing that all creative and artistic expression is an echo of the Creator Himself, your participation in the Vocal Jazz Ensemble is an opportunity to grow in the stewardship of your God-given music talents. (Offered every semester.) Corequisites: MUE 100, MUE 101, MUE 102, MUE 103 or MUE 114.
