Private lessons in string or electric bass are customized to meet the musical needs, interests, academic requirements, and goals of individual students. Emphasis is placed on developing strong fundamentals of tone production and technique as well as improving musical performance and artistry. Two credits involve one half-hour lesson per week; four credits involve one-hour lesson per week. Students are required to participate in juries at the end of the semester. May be repeated for credit. (Offered every semester.)
